Hot cross bunnies affect 1 in 10!

Wow it’s a Rabbit sign and a lucky day. What charms does it have in store for you?
It isn’t a belated Easter treat but a Fire (hot) Rabbit (bunny) day, but why crossed? The Yin Fire of today clashes with the Yin Water of this year and can affect 1 in 10 people. To see if you are affected, get a free Chinese horoscope and see if Yin Fire is found in your day pillar.

If it is, you may become cross by being under considerable pressure and frustration today. However, this is easily cured through the wood element, found by wearing green or light blue colours, being kind to others, strategic planning, eating sour tastes or astringent vegetables such as celery. Of course, you could also sleep in a specific direction or occupy a particular area of your home or office that is rich in this kind of energy, but as its only there for one day, why worry?

In basic Feng Shui and Chinese astrology, water is said to clash with fire, but the opposite yin/ yang polarity can actually empower and gain benefit from it. For example, yesterday was a Yang Fire day in a Yin Water year, making it a powerful day for all.

If the whole pillar of Fire Rabbit is in your day horoscope, you have very smooth flowing qi with great self-expression. You are also incredibly resourceful and have paws in many pies. So much so that finishing projects may be a problem as you hate the mundane.

Famous Fire Rabbits include Amerigo Vespucci, Tom Arnold, Javier Bardem, Juliette Binoche, Irene Cara, Hilary Duff, Prince Edward, Zac Efron, Ron Howard, Norah Jones, Rob Lowe, Elle Macpherson, Eva Mendes, Matthew Modine and Maria Sharapova.

The Chinese almanac states that today is good for meditating or honouring ancestors, asking for blessings, travelling, getting married, exchanging gifts, emigrating, opening a business and trading, refurbishing a home or office, laying foundations, buying or setting a direction for your bed, or funeral duties.  It advises against beauty treatments like hairstyling and manicures or drilling wells for water.

Being a Rabbit day in a Dragon month, you only need a Tiger sign for a full set and to be affected by a huge wood element influence. Although this can mean fantastic opportunities for relationships, wealth, power and authority or being truly inspirational and creative, it could also upset the balance of your Chinese horoscope.

This may have happened yesterday to our Rabbit signs and only they will know whether they found wonderland or slow building pressure from being in the pot. Fire cures will help and you can see our site for more information. Feel free to pass this onto a friend and let us know what you would like us to include in our daily blog by filling out the comments below.
Until next we meet, enjoy every moment of NOW!

Take stock as Rabbits rise

It’s a Fire Rabbit day, where fire represents the height of growth and in five element theory, the Rabbit strengthens this phenomenon. In this pinnacle position you would expect quite a busy day ahead, yet the Chinese almanac advises only quiet contemplation.

It is a time of taking stock and gathering your energy for busy times ahead. This is borne out by the Twelve Mansions which lists today as a Gather day. From the Twenty Eight Lunar Mansions we also get Well, an indication of stored and storing resources.  Why so? Well, tomorrow is a Dragon day in a Dragon year and Saturday sees the start of a new month and solar term called Little Heat, so let’s keep cool while we can.

To see how your personal astrology will fare under these influences, please see our dedicated Fire Rabbit web page. We will return tomorrow with an Earth Dragon  and until then, enjoy every moment of NOW, only don’t work so hard at it.

We will return tomorrow on an Earth Dragon day.

Winters breathe melts the heart of a White Rabbit

Today is a Fire Rabbit day. The fire element represents the heart and as fire melts metal, it also affects the other astrological bunny present; the annual Rabbit. White is also the colour of Metal, so no points for spotting our inspiration in today's title.

Winters breathe sounds somewhat poetic, which can also be linked to the fire element. It’s appropriate today as it is the start of the winter season in the Chinese calendar. As such, it is considered one of the year’s high energy days and is usually good for contemplation or meditation. However, as the fire element also represents action, the Chinese almanac recommends  travelling, getting married, having an astrology reading, emigrating, opening a  business and trading, moving earth, fixing a roof or setting up a tombstone.

Coincidentally, the Fire Rabbit horoscope of Sir Edmond Halley FRS, the English astronomer, geophysicist, mathematician, meteorologist, and physicist best known for computing the orbit of the eponymous Halley's Comet, would have celebrated his 355th birthday today.

"Like a Rabbit Caught in Headlights"

Global Feng Shui Consultations

Following on from yesterday’s narration, you should be able to tell that today is a Rabbit day. “Headlights” refers to Yin Fire as it usually means something small and bright. The plural aspect is used as we have a Yin Fire Rabbit day in a Yin Fire Rooster month.

However, the overall “startled” affect is what we are going for, as today we have major clashes with both the day and the month. According to the Chinese almanac, you too will be startled at the problems that can arise if you try to do anything new. It especially advises against having your hair done, perhaps a case of broadcasting your mistake or drilling a village well and going for a group surprise!

On the plus side, it’s excellent for taking things apart and starting over.posted 9th September 2011

Cheers to Chuckle Bunny and Chums

Five element analysis deals principally with energy and as our universe is made from it and uses it, literally everything can be assigned to one of the five elements. As an example, the fire of today’s Fire Rabbit represents the height of growth, spirituality, comedy and laughter; hence the Chuckle Bunny

People with a Fire Rabbit in their horoscopes would have an acute sense of humour and often break out in almost spontaneous laughter, especially so in daylight or other fire type environments. That’s because too much fire causes hysteria; no wonder Nero laughed.

Today's Fire Rabbit combines with the monthly Dog zodiac sign to bring even more fire element, so we should all be laughing today. Because of this, the Chinese almanac suggests travelling, visiting chums, or forming unions by getting engaged or married.

A smile on ones face may be the best way to tackle mundane or arduous tasks and the almanac further suggests laying foundations, fixing a roof and refurbishing a home or office.

Fire in spiritual terms can refer to meditation or honouring ancestors, asking for blessings  or attending to burial duties which are all auspicious today. Whilst other fire type activities are action and chemistry, meaning hunting and winemaking or fermenting are lucky. I’ll drink to that; cheers!

Fire Rabbit also forms part of the group with the annual Dragon sign, so if you have a Tiger in your Chinese horoscope you definitely have a memorable day ahead. To discover if this is you, see our free Chinese horoscope  and then our attribute cycle to see how to handle a triple alignment.

To see how you own sign is treated by today's Chuckle Bunny and Chums see below. We will return next Tuesday. Until then, enjoy moment of NOW!
