The power of cultivation

Wood Rabbit symbol

I was happy to see that our new Royal Prince was named with not just a U in his middle name, but more importantly with an “oo” sound, corresponding to his much needed favourable element of metal. Consequently, his Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge will prosper.

Traditionally when a child is born, the parents consult a Feng Shui or ba zi master and have a Four Pillars of Destiny horoscope produced. The new-born’s Chinese astrology chart is then analysed to reveal how he/she can make the most of life and which element will bring the child the most success and satisfaction.

Amongst the most important recommendations is the use of specific sounds in the naming of the child.  As sound is a frequency it signifies the transference of energy, and therefore power, whenever that name is used. Obviously, it would be more powerful if it was the Prince’s first name, but being third in line to the British throne, all his names will be announced in any public or formal occasion.

On the subject of power, today is a Water Dragon, which is the most powerful of all the five possible types of Dragon in Chinese astrology. However, those with this sign may bring huge pressure to bear on themselves. However, with proper cultivation and support, they too can prosper, especially with the metal element. Consequently, should you have a child born today, you might consider the above advice, so Luke or Ruth perhaps?

For expectant parents, we can also professionally produce these charts and recommend appropriate names. Of course, for those of us who already have a name, we can advise you on how to make the most from life. You can also get a free Chinese horoscope by clicking on the link.

The feng shui almanac also favours cultivation today in the form of planting seeds and obtaining livestock. Collecting debt is also favourable, whilst opening water courses isn’t.

Our dedicated Water Dragon Horoscope page will tell you all you need to know about how your own sign will be affected and coincidentally some of the recommendations included in a Four Pillars of Destiny chart.

We should return tomorrow, commitments permitting. Until then, enjoy every moment of NOW!

It’s Tigertastic?

Huge Rabbit

Although it’s a Water Dragon day in a Rabbit month, those born under the influence of the Tiger sign will have such a memorable day, I’ve invented a new word - Tigertastic. As an encounter with a Tiger can be beautiful, caution must be observed to avoid calamity. In a similar way, depending on the equilibrium of your Chinese horoscope, today can be spectacularly good or fantastically bad.

This Chinese astrology information is used in a feng shui consultation to balance this flow by making the following recommendations:

  • Position or placement, that is sitting in the most appropriate and beneficial part of your home to suit functionality and your energy needs.
  • Direction, once the space is found, having you sit, face or sleep in your most favourable directions to not just balance but also inspire and empower.
  • Performance, from analysing your energy we can even tell you which job, vocation or activity will bring you the most satisfaction and happiness in life generally or at any given time.
  • Dietary, it is said that you are what you eat and we can even tell you what foods and flavours are best suited to you.
  • Aesthetics, power dressing plus, we can also tell you which colours will motivate, inspire, relax and attract fame, fortune and relationships to you.
  • Atmosphere, once your energy is understood, Feng Shui can offer advice to create the perfect nurturing atmosphere for you, your family or staff in your home and office.

Consequently, people that live in homes or work in offices that have been feng shuied do not need to worry too much about the triple alignment that occurs today. However, we offer advice for those yet to try this sometimes life changing and definitely life enhancing experience.

The alignment occurs as the day (Dragon), and month (Rabbit) signs combine with the Tiger to bring a huge wood element influence. If beneficial it can bring fantastic, no make that “Tigertastic” opportunities for making life or long term strategic decisions and can greatly improve, personal wealth, relationships, recognition, and authority. However, if it upsets the flow, this wood influence can bring enormous anger, frustration and pressure. Let’s see how you will be affected.

First you may need to see if you have a Tiger in your chart and the best and easiest way to do this is to use our free Chinese horoscope. Secondly, you will need to know where it appears, as this will show you where and who will be affected by this triple alignment.
Next use our attribute cycle, also free, to see what will be affected in terms of wealth, power, creativity, relationships, or support. You might want to pass this blog onto a friend or family member to see if they are “Tigertastic” too.

If it turns out to be a grrrreat day, remember who told you first. However, if your patience begins to be sorely tested, you can try using the fire element to cure and there is lots of information on our site as to how to do this. Alternatively and especially if symptoms (annoyance) persists, you might consider having a professional astrology reading.

Having hopefully averted any problems, let’s return to the Water Dragon day. The Feng Shui almanac recommends letting off steam by travelling, preparing for better times ahead by tidying up loose ends in your home or office or personally by having a haircut. It advises against opening a water feature.

End of heat wave, as Water Dragon takes Wing?

Feng Shui astrology - Water Goatfish day horoscope

According to legend the Chinese emperors used to petition the Water Dragon to send rain and aid agriculture or bring relief to drought regions. His success in this field, excuse the pun, was directly linked to his popularity. Had this practice been around today, he may have smiled at the heavenly coincidence found in the Chinese almanac or book of nature. Namely today's Water Dragon meets with the lunar mansion called Wings and looking out of the window, as I am doing now; he may have thought his job had been done for him. UK weather forecasters have also advised that our Indian summer may be coming to an end.

The almanac suggests meditation, asking for blessings, taking a course, travelling,  getting married,  having an astrology reading, emigrating, opening a  business and trading, refurbishing a home or office, moving earth, fixing a roof, buying or setting direction for your bed, or setting up a tombstone.

Today also affords a glimpse of 2012, as it is also a Water Dragon year, where water will have a major impact. Discover how your own sign fares today with our dedicated Water Dragon page.

Lucky day of the year?

I’ve had a tendency all week to state the obvious and as today is a Water Dragon, the same energy as the annual sign, so quite literally it is the “day of the year”. Furthermore, as Dragons are highly compatible with this month’s sign of Rooster, it is… “lucky” too!

If it’s been a good year for you so far, today can be akin to the “cherry on top”. However if 2012 hasn’t been so great, you may find assistance on our dedicated Water Dragon web page.

The Chinese almanac supports most activities and may bring success to meditation or honouring ancestors, asking for blessings, travelling, getting married, having an astrology reading, buying or making clothes, emigrating, opening a  business and trading, refurbishing a home or office, laying foundations, fixing a roof, buying or setting direction for your bed or setting up a tombstone. - Water Dragon Feng Shui horoscope daily posted 28th September 2012

Water Dragon day, month and 2012 – how Was your future?

Black beauty day?

How was yesterday for you? If you read yesterday blog you would know that the daily energy exactly matched the annual qi and by doing so perhaps afforded a taste of things to come. Well this Water Dragon day is also interesting as we can use it to get a taste of this month and next year as they also have the same qi.

If Water Dragon is in your horoscope it can be (depending on timeliness and other pillars) the most powerful of the 5 elemental dragons in Chinese astrology.  Due to a controlling influence between the Dragon and its element there is a qi blockage, which can stop you from expressing yourself. It also means that you bottle up your emotions and that can cause health problems.  Metal is your most needed element and this is present in the annual qi until February 2012, so this should be a wholesome time for you.

Today’s Water Dragon day should mean that all earth signs including Sheep, Ox and Dog have wealth opportunities and can easily manage their affairs. Although,  Dog signs are clashed and need to be careful of over extending themselves.

Their associated signs of Rat and related Pig can enjoy power and recognition whilst females of these signs are lucky in love. Monkeys and Roosters are quite relaxed and may use their time to develop new concepts.

Rabbit and Tiger are well supported and can be lucky with investments this afternoon especially if they seek proper advice.  Snake and Horse signs can be inspired and should put new ideas into action.

The Chinese almanac list suitable activities as travelling, buy or make clothes, have a haircut, open a business, sweep house, refurbish home,  set up a bed or tombstone.
